How to request deletion

Used Car Buyer Assistant does not require or create user accounts. You can request deletion of personal information you previously submitted through the inspection inquiry form.

1. Email mflautomotivegroup@gmail.com with the subject Used Car Buyer Assistant — Data Deletion Request.
2. Identify the email address or phone number you used for your inspection request and ask us to delete the related inquiry details. Only provide the minimum information necessary to locate your request. Do not email passwords, identity documents, payment card information, or other sensitive records.
3. We will review the request, may ask you to verify control of the original contact address, and respond with the outcome. Some records may need to be kept for legitimate legal or business requirements, as explained below.

Email a Deletion Request

If the email button does not open an email program, send a message directly to mflautomotivegroup@gmail.com. You do not need a login or an app account to contact us.

Information eligible for deletion

After validating a request, we can delete the personal contact and vehicle details you provided in inspection inquiries, including your name, email address, phone number, VIN if supplied, vehicle details, dealer or seller location, and related inquiry messages, from records under our control where no retention obligation applies. We will also review related records with our email and hosting service providers when deletion is applicable and available.

Information kept and retention

We may need to retain limited information such as invoices, completed service records, payment-related business records, correspondence needed for a dispute, fraud-prevention records, or records required to comply with legal and tax obligations. Where applicable, accounting and tax records may need to be kept for up to seven years, or longer when specifically required by law or an unresolved proceeding. Any retained information is restricted to the reason it must be kept, and is removed when the applicable reason and retention period end.

Cloudflare, Resend and other infrastructure providers may retain security, delivery or operational logs under their own retention settings or legal requirements. We review provider-held records that we can reasonably access and control, but cannot promise immediate deletion from independent third-party records.

Delete information saved only on your device

Your saved car lists, checklists and photos created in the buyer tools are stored locally in your browser or device, rather than on our inquiry server. We cannot remotely access or delete that local information.

To remove it, open your browser settings, find the site data/storage for app.usautoinspection.com, and choose to clear the site's data. If you use the installed Android app, its content may share browser storage; clearing the app alone or uninstalling it may not remove all browser site data. You can also remove individual entries using the tools when an individual delete option is available.

Analytics and third-party requests

Optional Google Analytics is disabled by default unless you previously enabled it. You can change that setting on our Privacy Policy page. Turning analytics off stops new optional analytics collection on future visits but does not automatically erase data already processed by Google. Public VIN decoding and recall lookups may send your vehicle details to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); data handled independently by NHTSA is subject to its policies.
